Would you like something with an award at the end of it? Maybe you’re already doing something like a DofE award and you want some navigation training to compliment it? Mountain Experience are registered to train and assess the National Navigation Award Scheme. 

The path is easy if you know what you’re doing!

Complete beginners, as well as those more experienced in navigation, can undertake either the Bronze or Silver Award. Further your knowledge and understanding of not only the science, but more importantly, the art of navigation.

The training and assessment can take place over a single weekend and there will be a maximum of 6 students.

You can enter at either level, with the Bronze Award being appropriate for those who want the confidence to plan and follow routes using paths and tracks. The higher award is more suitable for those who want to get off the beaten track.
